The HTC Shubert has been first seen in a video showing an HTC Legend-like aluminum build but we don’t know anything else but we rather suspect it will be at least obeying the Minimum Hardware Requirements set by Microsoft for Windows Phone 7 devices.

If you’re upgrading from an older Android phone such as the Hero or Tattoo, the Wildfire is an excellent choice. You get a few Wildfire Accessories in the box to start you off, but a case isn’t one of them, so if you want to keep your phone looking at it’s best, a case is a worthwhile investment. Here are the best top 5 Wildfire cases.
PDair Leather Case For HTC Wildfire
The PDair vertical case is a leather case with elasticated sides. This does have it’s benefits – the main one being that the case holds your phone a little more securely as it’s a neater fit. There’s no belt clip on the back, so this is perfect for those who prefer to carry their phone around in their pocket or bag.

HTC Wildfire Pouch – PO S530
This is a case from HTC that’s made specifically for the Wildfire. It’s a similar design to the Bugatti and has a built in pull strap. When your phone is in the case the strap tucks in and prevents your phone from falling out, but when you want to remove your phone, just give the strap a gentle tug and it will raise your phone from the case quickly and effortlessly. The case is made from a high quality leather and has a soft interior that helps keep the screen clean and prevent scratches.

Bugatti Slim Leather Case For HTC Wildfire
Bugatti slim cases are high quality leather cases that have a fabric strap to make removing your Wildfire quick and easy. They protect the screen of your phone and don’t add much extra bulk.

HTC Wildfire Pouch – PO S491
If you were lucky, you may have got a case in the box with your phone. If you didn’t, or you’ve lost it, this is the original HTC Wildfire leather pouch that’s included as standard. It’s a simple slip pouch that protects your Wildfire against minor knocks and bumps and still provides access to the 3.5mm headphone socket.

Silicone Case For HTC Wildfire
Last on my list for now then is a silicone case. These are available in black or white and are a simple, cost effective way to look after your phone. They cover the back, sides and corners of your Wildfire and leave your screen fully accessible. As your screen isn’t covered, I’d recommend using a HTC Wildfire screen protector with them, just to be on the safe side.

HTC Wildfire – unboxing video
The HTC Wildfire is a compact and budget friendly device. Much like Sony Ericsson’s X10 Mini, HTC is targeting everyone with this offering. Right away you’ll see that the Wildfire shares many design aspects with the Nexus One. With that being said, its 3.2” screen and a 528mhz processor, the Wildfire is sure to be a different experience.

HTC HD Pro Concept by Jukah
The whole point of the concept was to have a good keyboard while looking like a slate phone. OLED displays and digitizers strengthened with new composites could easily be under 4mm thick. Space could also be saved with a hinge mechanism that has dual purposes as part of the body of the phone.
The concept has a 4.3″ screen that is slightly thicker than 3.2mm, encased in a durable glass and extremely unbendable metal. The phone is no thicker than 11.5mm while still having a 5 row staggered keyboard. There is still plenty of room for components. Approx. 62165.95 cubic mm is still available for components. This is very close to the iPhone’s 62781.7 cubic mm (counting the space taken by screen and digitizer) volume. Along with the standard variety of ports (3.5mm jack, MicroUSB, and mini HDMI), the concept has a high capacity battery (>1500mAh) that is removable from the phone when the keyboard is opened. Pushing the capacitive volume slider on the device in allows you to access the keyboard (this works because the volume slider is part of the screen).

At the last count there were some 70,000 apps available through Android Market and designed for Android based mobile phones. Although this is somewhat less than the 200,000 or so that are currently on demand in the Apple App Store, the apps for Android are still quite considerable. You can get apps for anything; recognizing a song, GPS, food recipes to ordering a pizza – it is an understatement to suggest that apps have revolutionalized the way in which we use mobiles and the approach in which we take to many things in our daily lives. If you are looking for cheap mobile phone deals for your next phone then head over to comparison sites like Best Mobile Contracts.
However in the past apps have been a very personalized entity in that because of the thousands out there it is often the case that you will have a useful app that your peers do not. For sure you can tell them at a later date about some of the cool apps that you have downloaded but wouldn’t it be easier to do it immediately and also include a link straight to that app? You can find the cheapest Wildfire deals by comparing the market.
With the new HTC Wildfire you can do just that. Designed as an entry level phone to the Android Market the HTC Wildfire is trying to capitalize on the success of its the HTC Desire and convert users onto the Android operation system. The HTC Wildfire features a widget that can inform your friends and family of a new app that you recommended through either SMS, email or through your social network. Instead of having to write a text message or phone them, it can all be done at the push of a button with a specific link so they too can enjoy all the benefits that your new found app has to offer in seconds.
The HTC Wildfire will be available from July and looks set to take the budget Smartphone market by storm and, at the same time, convert a whole new batch of mobile phone users to the Android operating system.

The HTC Wildfire is the baby brother to the HTC Desire. Visually they look quite similar, but when you look a little closer you’ll spot a few key differences. The Wildfire has a slightly smaller, lower resolution screen, that doesn’t drain your battery so quickly, touch sensitive controls and is generally smaller and lighter.
You get a few Wildfire Accessories in the box to start you off, but if you really want to make the most of the phone, there are a number of accessories that are well worth investing in.
1. HTC Wildfire Screen Protector
If you’re only going to invest in one accessory for your Wildfire then it really needs to be a screen protector. The screen on your phone is the most vulnerable part of the handset, damage it and it could render your phone useless. This screen protector is made by HTC specifically for the Wildfire and is a perfect fit. It doesn’t interfere with the touch sensitive controls at the bottom of the screen or the earpiece at the top of the display.

Another accessory from HTC that’s made specifically for the Wildfire is the PO S530 Carry Pouch. What makes this one stand out is the built in pull strap.

Ask any smartphone owner about their battery life and you’ll be met with a pretty negative response. Even though the battery in the Wildfire out performs that of the HTC Desire, it’s still going to drain quickly as soon as you start using your phone in the car with any GPS apps - Sat Nav in particular.

The HTC CC200 is a genuine HTC accessory that will keep your Wildfire charged in the car. Unlike some cheaper car chargers, the CC200 is powerful enough to charge the phone even when it’s being used for GPS.
The 3.5″ screen on the Wildfire is great for looking at photo’s, watching movies and playing games, but the limited internal memory means that you’re not going to be able to store much on the phone without replacing the memory card. The HTC Wildfire supports memory cards of up to 32GB in size, but considering the processing power of the phone I’d suggest sticking to 16GB for now.

5. Sony Ericsson MW600 Stereo Bluetooth Headset
You might think it strange to see a Sony Ericsson headset in a list of accessories for a HTC phone, but the truth is this is one of the best bluetooth headsets available at the moment. It’s incredibly compact and is designed to be either hung around your neck or clipped on to your clothing.

The main body of the headset packs a lot in to a small space. It’s a multipoint headset that allows you to use it with a phone and a music device at the same time. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack so that you can use any standard 3.5mm headphones with it. What really makes it stand out though is the built in FM Radio. Smart phone users have been crying out for an FM radio to be added to the phones, but the manufacturers seem to be ignoring their requests.

HTC Mondrian and HTC Mozart confirmed by HTC

Both the HTC Mondrian and HTC Mozart, both confirmed to be running Windows Phone 7 by the browser ID, which is listed as “Microsoft Internet Explorer Mobile 7”,
The HTC Mondrian’s XML is here and the HTC Mozart’s is here.
The MMS info does not reveal too much, except that both devices predictably have WVGA screens and also that they are both slates without keyboards. The XML also references supported Bluetooth profiles, and we can see support for A2DP, Object push and of course the various hands-free profiles. At least we know, unlike the iPhone, Windows Phone 7 will support A2DP and MMS at launch
