Windows Mobile 7 leaked system requirements
The Chassis 1 requirements were leaked for Windows Mobile 7 a while back and the new leak that details the requirements for Windows Mobile 7 show that the platform is geared towards the high-end smartphone users, with on-board storage, a capable camera, and sensors requirements, and vivid screen. Here are the latest leaked specs:
-1GHz processor
-3.6 inch WVGA display
-G-sensor and compass
-8GB of onboard memory
-5MP camera
These specs lead to some speculations that Microsoft may be applying a dual-OS strategy for Windows Mobile. Some are saying that the Redmond, Washington firm may using Windows Mobile 7 for the high end devices while keeping Windows Mobile 6.x available for lower-end devices since they don’t have expensive hardware requirements.
These requirements are pretty messed up? It cant be minimum 1GHz CPU right? I mean the Iphone OS is probably the best mobile os right now on the market and the 3GS have a ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz, PowerVR SGX graphics and its really responsive.
I just bought the Htc HD2 1GHz cpu and i winmo 7 got 1Ghz as minimum req that cant play to nice together.
on HTC Tattoo it work too but it is slow.
it is in Beta Phase and i think that with cpu patch and many dev work it will work on this device look on youtube to see this status (search htc click winmo7 rom)
