We may see an 8.9″ tablet from Amazon this Spring
Amazon haven’t officially announced whether they’re going to make an 8.9″ tablet, but rumors about the device are spreading fast. According to DigiTimes, the device will be out in the Spring of 2012 and the display panels will be manufactured by LG or Samsung.
Even though the first Fire is being manufactured by Quanta, DigiTimes think Foxconn are also going to work on the second one. So far the only reaction from Amazon has been an announcement, that we should expect more surprises and even though they don’t specify what these surprises might be, analyzers recon we should get ready for a bigger screen tablet – after all Amazon have to release one sooner or later. So far these devices haven’t caught on, but it’s a matter of time to see if Amazon can change this.
