The Xoom 2 and Xoom 2 Media Edition
|
After months of speculations, leaked information and blurry photos, Motorola finally announced the long-awaited Xoom 2 and its little brother – the Xoom 2 Media Edition, which is the same device, but with a smaller 8.2″ screen (compared to the 10.1″ one on the Xoom 2).
According to Motorola the new screens are brighter and have better viewing angles than the one in the original Xoom. The battery life is also different for both devices – it’s 10 hours for the standard and 6 hours for the media edition.
The device both use the same 1.2 gHz dual-core processor and have 1 GB of RAM to back it up. They’re running Android 3.2 and have 16 GB of internal memory. Both devices have slick bodies – 9 mm, but are very durable with their Gorilla glass and anti-water coating. You can expect them in a couple of weeks in the UK and a bit later in other countries. B.
