The world’s first virus for Android 2.3 Gingerbread

The popularity of Android certainly has downsides, one of them is the new wave of more and more viruses that threaten the security of all devices. The newest virus is directed to Android 2.3 Gingerbread and gives hackers access and control to the entire device. Like other viruses, GingerMaster sends information from the device to an external server – phone numbers from the SIM card, your phone number, IMEI and IMSI numbers of the device, screen resolution and local time. The virus is spread by legitimate applications, but the bad news is that several mobile antivirus software failed to detect it.
