The Samsung Galaxy SII Android 4.0 ICS Update Has Begun

The millions of Samsung Galaxy SII owners around the world have a good reason to celebrate – the long awaited update for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has finally arrived for their devices. According to Samsung’s Facebook page, the first SII’s to receive the new software are going to be the ones in Korea, as well as some European countries, such as Poland, Hungary and Sweden with a lot more following soon. The Ice Cream Sandwich update is also going to become available for some other Galaxy devices pretty soon – the Note, SII 4G LTE, Tab 8.9 and Tab 10.1 are going to be the first ones to get it after the SII.
Samsung are also going to release an Android 2.3 update for some of their budget devices, such as the Galaxy S, GALAXY Tab 7″, GALAXY S Plus, GALAXY S SCL (Super Clear LCD) and GALAXY W. The new Galaxy S software is also going to include a bunch of new features, such as unlocking by facial recognition and image editor. B. A.
