The next version of Firefox for Android will support Flash
|
Mozilla have mentioned in a recent letter to those, who had signed up for Mozilla Mobile Platforms updates, that the next version of the browser for Android is going have some major changes. One of them is going to be Flash-support and another one – a tablet optimized version, which works with both Honeycomb and ICS. The new Firefox is also going to use the standard Android app interface, which means it’s going to become much faster and will require much less memory to run. We don’t know yet when the new version is going to be released, but considering the desktop version is updated every month, it shouldn’t take too long. B. A.
