Surface Pro 2 Tablet Gets a Processor Upgrade

Microsoft announced the latest upgrade to their Surface Pro 2 tablets, there’s a new Intel i5-4300u processor running at 1.9GHz or up to 2.5GHz in Turbo Boost mode (the old one was Intel i5-4200 @ 1.6GHz). Another minor change is the default GPU clock speed, now it’s running on 1.1GHz which gives a 100MHz overclock.
According to Microsoft, the new upgrade will improve not only the overall performance of the Surface Pro 2 tablets, but also the battery life will be extended too.
