So far, Sony Ericsson was considered to be the only vendor who was more or less Symbian only – it looks like this perception is more than false.
A statement by Mobile Business Briefing reads as follows:
…However, the company’s main objective is increasing profitability, with boosting market share – in terms of both value and volume – a secondary priority, Nordberg said. The vendor also expects to focus on Android as its main operating system, but will also continue to support Symbian and Windows.
If this turns out to be more than marketing chit-chat, it means bad news for Symbian – as for Windows Phone 7.
