Samsung’s profits go down by 26% for Q2

Samsung’s profits have went down by 26% for Q2. The main reason for this is the weaker sales of LCD panels, for these 3 months Samsung’s overall profits are $3,5 billion – not bad, but way worse than the $4,7 billion from last year’s Q2. But even though other parts of the company are having difficulties, the smartphone/tablet division is performing very well. Samsung were hoping to sell 60 million smartphones this year, but annalists  say they have sold over 19 million for Q2 alone. The company had already said they will have a smaller profit, because of the less semiconductor and LCD panels sales and of course – the legal problems with Apple aren’t helping either.
