Samsung to pay Microsoft $15 for every Android device they sell

A while ago the American company Citi stated that Microsoft has a bigger profit from license taxes from Android for patents, rather than from their own mobile OS – Windows Phone. Back than, Citi said HTC are paying Microsoft $5 for every Android device they sell. And if you thought that was a lot, you’ll be amazed by what Microsoft want Samsung to pay them – $15 for every device they sell running Android. Samsung have made an offer for $10 for every Android device plus a deeper alliance with Microsoft for the U.S. company’s Windows Phone platform. This may be even better for Microsoft, because Samsung are selling more and more devices and they’re on their way to becoming the No.1 smartphone manufacturer in the world.
