Samsung starts to mass produce flexible AMOLED displays in 2012
|
Samsung has officially confirmed it – it’s going to mass produce flexible AMOLED panels for its smartphones in Q2 of 2012 in its new 5.5 Gen plant. We are likely to see the new flexible AMOLED displays on the market by the end of 2012. They’re going to have a WVGA resolution and will be 4.5″ in diagonal – just like the prototypes that Samsung showed us last year. The Koreans also say that we can expect to see these displays inboth smaller and larger devices – like wristwatches and tablets.

The Race is already on between Google & Facebook. But Google appears to be focusing on segmentation by organizing around “circles,” allowing an easy way to target particular posts to friends, family, colleagues, etc. In fact you can do this on Facebook as well, but Facebook lists are not as easy to find or edit; nor are they as easy to view as a separate stream.
