Samsung Intercept confirmed

The Samsung Intercept with its sliding keyboard has been lurking around for some time now as a mid-range handset with a sliding QWERTY keyboard and higher resolution WVGA screen. The device will be competitive against the LG Ally, also a compact mid-range Android smartphone, and will feature a 3.2-megapixel camera and all the Android and Sprint support on a modern Sprint Android release, including Google service support, added Sprint apps, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, and optical joystick.

The Intercept will be in sale on July 11th for just under $100 on a two-year contract after rebates.
