Samsung flexible AMOLED display demo at CES 2011

The screen has a quick response time, low power consumption, and a thin profile. Samsung has achieved the flexibility by swapping the usual rigid glass substrate with a special plastic, allowing for inside circuitry without melting during production. This one sports the rather decent 480×800 resolution. Take a look at the video preview, and start thinking about possible applications for one hard-working, but humble flexible AMOLED screen.
