Quanta also paying Microsoft for its Android and Chrome products

After Microsoft recently signed a patent agreement with Samsung, which forces the Korean company to pay license taxes for every single Android tablet or smartphone sold, the Americans announced they’ve made another contract.

This time it’s with Quanta Computer, which is interesting, because they’re one of the bigger OEM of mobile devices and the deal is going to affect every tablet, smartphone and many other consumer devices of theirs, which is running Android or Chrome OS. The exact numbers haven’t been officially announced, but it’s certain that Quanta is going to have to pay quite a lot to Microsoft. B. A.
