Nexus S kicking in Smartbench 2011

Smartbench-2011

Nexus S has scored over 10k in Smartbench 2011 – to put this in perspective, the next-gen dual-core Galaxy S2 scores just over 3k .Of course, Nexus S result was very hard to achieve – the phone has been tweaked, overclocked to 1.544 GHz (55% overclock) and changed in pretty much every way possible to achieve the (unrealistic) result. It was running Android 2.3.4 – Cyanogen Mod 7.1 to be exact. The creator of the benchmark says that the result was caused by some minor bug and should not be trusted (really?!?). But then, again having a phone that scores so high is cool even if it doesn’t count πŸ˜€
