Netbooks with ARM processors running Android?
|DigiTimes has published some interesting information according to which several computer/laptop/etc. manufacturers including ASUS, Acer, Samsung and Toshiba are developing netbooks with ARM processors running surprisingly not Chrome OS but Android. The reason for their choice, is that users are not yet ready to fully accept cloud-based technologies. On the other hand, Android already has a great user and developer community and that makes it the perfect OS for portable devices like these. According to DigiTimes, ASUS are going to reveal a 13″ Android netbook soon and about a month or two later the Eee Pad Slider.
