LG smartphones and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
|
LG are currently knows as a company with bad support for its devices, not matter their price or importance to the company. Now though, the Koreans might be trying to change their image, as they’ve announced (on their Facebook page) , their Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade plans for their current line of high-end devices.
The first phones to receive the update are the Optimus Sol, Optimus 2X, Eclipse, Optimus LTE, myTouch Q and the LG Prada 3.0 and their owners can expect the update in Q2 next year. Just a couple of months later, the rest of LG’s high-end devices is going to follow – Optimus Q2, Optimus 3D, Optimus Big, Optimus Black and the Optimus EX. With the last few quarters being so bad for LG, 2012 is very important for the company, so we’re expecting not only good support for their current devices, but also new innovative ones to be released.
