Latest version of Facebook for Android causing problems

If you have experienced battery problems for the last couple of days and you have just updated your Facebook app version, it is very possible that it is causing the problem.With this new version when you leave Facebook running in the background it keeps constantly syncing which drains your battery fairly quickly. According to some users, the problem can be solved by uninstalling the app and then re-installing it, but this has not been officially confirmed. Anyway, we’re expecting a new version to be rolled out in a few days to fix this bug.
