RIM are still working on the next version of BlackBerry OS, which will be based on the QNX platform – the one, found in their tablet, the PlayBook. The first phone running this new OS is expected some time in the first half of 2012 and it may look like the device on the photos. They have been uploaded by an anonymous source, who also shares [unofficial] information about the device. According to him, it’s going to be called the BlackBerry London and will debut in June 2012. It’s supposed to feature a 1.5 gHz OMAP processor paired with 1 GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and an 8MP main camera along with a 2MP front-facing one.

According to the information, the device is thinner than the iPhone 4/4s and about the same size as the Galaxy SII. Of course, there is a chance these photos actually show just a concept and this information could be wrong, but we sure hope it’s not, because it sounds great.
