HTC thinking about making their own platform

According to the chairwoman of HTC – Cher Wang, the company has been looking into buying or making it’s own mobile OS. Still they don’t want to rush and act on impulses. According to some rumors, HTC and Samsung were both potential candidates to buy HP’s webOS, after HP’s recent announcement that they’re going to stop making phones and tablets using the platform. According to Wang, HTC can use any OS they want, because of their ability to create products that differ from the masses and of course to change the look of the OS with their Sense interface. B.A.
