HTC reported doubled sales in May

HTC Corporation, a global leader in smartphone innovation and design, today announces consolidated results of the company and its subsidiaries for the first quarter 2011.

The company announced that in May the sales have doubled year on year and reached 1.42 billion dollars, while last year were “only” 655 million dollars. In April 2011, HTC reported sales of 1.35 billion dollars, which again shows the positive trend in the development of the company. In the first quarter of 2011, the Taiwanese company said that the profit is almost tripled and also was elected charter producer of the year awards in the GSM Association.
