HTC HD2 with Windows Phone 7 is faster than HTC HD7

But if we can get some details, the HD2 is faster because it’s running the ROM with the new update, the same one Samsung Omnia 7 has that increases speed. The first major OTA Windows Phone 7 update will mean every WP7 device will be fast.

i invested in HD7 thinking it would be like the HD2 but better, shame on me. first unlike HD2 you cannot get access to the phone filders and files via windows mobile centre. you can access your desktop via the phone, i.e drag files from one to the other. you can only add pic and songs, WOW who thought that the phone users would only want songs and pic. you cannot sync real data and oh yes the mobile office, why cant i just drap a word doc i created on the phone to my desktop and vicea versa. what happened to beam! if i want to send pic to my friend standing next to me i cant i have to either mms it or upload it to some unknown destination crap.
ringtones, i have ring tones i have created on my earlier phone and on my desktop, and from records i have stored. who would have though that in HD7 you cant add these to your phone, or even worse you can make songs on your phone into ringtones. i have spoken to HTC in Taiwan about these lapse in judgement and they rang me back to appologise to me and cite the problem being with microsoft and suggested i only buy a HD7 with type phone with Andorid OS as these features were removed by microsoft, now i wonder why they did that, would it be to control the users so only their market place and ringtone is where you can buy such stuff. or is that just me thinking the worse of MS
