Hidden radio update for HTC HD2
What started up as a SIM Contacts Update for the HD2 that “allows for contacts stored on your SIM card to be properly displayed on your phone along with Phone and Exchange Server contacts” turned out to be a little bit more than we’ve expected. Smells like Marketing Department brainstorming…
After applying the update, it looks like the Radio on the HD2 has been upgraded to 2.06.51.07 (I’ve previously had 2.05.51.05_2). Time will tell what this new radio will bring, so far I’m not experiencing a better reception but for a full picture (Phone, Data, WiFi, GPS and battery life) I need to test it for a couple of days.
