Google Maps for Android – new update
Shortly after the release of the Google Maps update for Android, which brought together Latitude and Hotpot, Google continues to integrate its services with another update for the application. This time, users can add their home location and can be checked there. The bad news is that there is no option it will not appear on the map, at least for now – so watch out if you do not want to share the location of your home with others. The good news is that any attempt to check the application will warn you that all can see where you are. Added a list of history of the places where you were, you can see from the main screen of the application. Hotpot is there for a very clever additive from Google called “features” but in practice the ability to add keywords to the sites and facilities in service. The new version of Google Maps for Android can be found in the Android Market.
