Firefox OS Demoed at CES 2013
Mozilla’s mobile platform – Firefox OS, will be completed in two weeks according to the company, in the meantime a device loaded with fully working demo version is available to all visitors at CES 2013.
The Firefox OS platform is targeted to low-end phones and the first batch of devices will be powered by a single core processors with an operating frequency of 800 MHz. Mozilla Foundation also said, that they plan to include and more powerful phones with the new OS in the future. Firefox OS is entirely based on HTML5, and the first devices are expected to be ZTE branded and will be available on the market by the end of the year.
