Asus Working With Google On A Nexus Tablet And More

Even though there are not evidence of Google working on a Nexus tablet, the sheer number of rumors, suggesting they are, is impressive. The latest ones state, that the company has partnered with Asus in the development of such a device, which is supposed to have a 7″ screen, feature a Tegra 3 processor and, of course, run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The rumors also suggest, that the tablet is going to cost around $200, which is going to make it a direct competitor of the Kindle Fire . Such a low price actually makes a lot of sense, because this would make it much easier for Google to catch up with Apple and their iPad.

Another interesting thing about Asus is their software update schedule – the company was one of the first to offer devices running Android 4.0 and has provided regular updates for their devices in the past year or so.
