Android 4.0 for Xperia devices to be released in 3 to 5 months

Sony Ericsson recently confirmed, that their whole Xperia line from 2011 is going to receive the Android 4.0 update, but kept the most important detail unknown – when the update should be expected. The company finally announced the release date, just in time for Christmas – Android Ice Cream Sandwich is going to come to Xperia devices between the end of March and the beginning of May 2012.

The first devices to receive it are going to be the Arc S, Neo V and Ray. About a month later owners of the Arc, Play, Neo, Mini (Pro), Pro, Active and the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman are also going to receive the update.
