Toshiba seems to have really focused on the US tablet market. Or at least that’s what comes to mind when you see their latest products – three tablets with different screen sizes, which are part of the same family – Excite. The devices have 7.7″, 10.1″ and 13.3″ (yes, thirteen) displays. According to Toshiba a tablet with such a big screen is actually just what most people need. The company has conducted a research and the results showed, that most tablet users generally use their devices at home – so why not make the screen a bit bigger and more comfortable to use?
Of course, this is just their theory – whether or not it turns out to be true is something we’ll just have to wait to find out. This is going to happen on 10.06, when the Toshiba Excite 13 and 7.7 are going to hit the market (with prices starting at $650 and $500 respectively). The Excite 10 is going to hit the market a bit earlier – on 06.05 for $450 (for the 16GB model).
