Huawei take precedence over other smartphone producers with their gamma of different models on different prices. Now, they announced the new model Huawei X1 also known as U8180 or Gaga. The phone has a 525 MHz processor, 2.8” touch screen display with QVGA resolution, Wi-fi, GPS and it is powered by Android 2.2.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be upgraded to Gingerbread

Good news for all Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 users . Since last year the company announced that the phone will not get a newer version of the Android 2.1 Eclair, now it is clear that this is not true. In the corporate blog of SE was officially confirmed that the  Xperia X10 will be upgraded to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The update, which will be available only for versions without operator software is expected in late second and early third quarter this year.

Overall, the update will include most of the capabilities of the new Sony Ericsson smartphones, but the final set of features has not yet been determined, though there are some details about the changes. The camera interface will be standard for Android, which will disappear features like Face Detection and activation of the prison by a smile. Mediascape application will be replaced by the new widgets and music player included in this year’s models will be out and use for backup, which is not supported by Gingerbread. At present it provides updates on other previous smartphone with Android – Xperia X10 mini, Xperia X10 mini pro and Xperia X8.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play hands-on at MWC 2011

Sony Ericsson has officially announced the Xperia Play smartphone, dedicated to game lovers on the move. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play offers a different gaming experience from any other smartphone that is currently on the market because it also adds physical console like buttons. The smartphone’s operating system is Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 1Ghz CPU with Adreno graphics processor that makes everything smooth and responsive and a 4-inch BRAVIA display. Obviously, the large display makes the phone so rather cumbersome: the dimensions are 119 × 62×16 mm and weighs 175 grams. The camera is 5 megapixels, this is strange because we think that the other models introduced today are equipped with 8 megapixels camera.

Rikko Sakaguchi, Sony Ericsson‘s CEO, presented this phone as the best smartphone ever.

Download the FTF-File for Flashtool Version 0.2.4 or higher:

Copy this File into the firmwares folder directly, and copy the “Dualtouch” Folder inside the Firmwares Folder of Flashtool. After that just flash your device and reboot, if the ROM is capable of Dual-/Multitouch you will have it now.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA Play review

Sony Ericsson XPERIA Play was going to be a unique Android phone that would become a great tech product for video game devotees, and this is not only a phone for video games, it also features the latest  high-end specs for smartphones.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro was pictured on the Chinese web forum IT168, tech specs are leaked as well. The device will be running Android 2.3, powered by Qualcomm MSM 7230 CPU and the Adreno 205 GPU. The CPU (MSM7230) clock speed was not officially announced yet, but that chip is usually set to run at 800MHz. The phone will be receiving a nice bump up in RAM -  from 128MB to 384MB  and the display also gets an increase from 2.55 inches to 3 inches, of course with new resolution – 320×480.

SonyEricsson PlayStation phone – new leaked photos

If we do not see the SonyEricsson PlayStation phone at CES 2011 this week, will most likely be presented at the Mobile World Congress in February. The new leaked photos of the phone shows that it works with Android 2.3, not with 2.2, as we heard earlier, and also it is part of the Xperia series, which partly confirms the preliminary information that the official name can be Xperia Play. If you are worried about the size of the phone, you can view more detailed pictures, which was compared to the Xperia X10.
