Project Spartan to be released before August 1st

The Facebook project named Spartan, believed to be a platform for web applications for iOS devices, is almost ready and will be released by the end of July. The project is based on HTML5 and there is already a navigation page, that is going to lead to web applications stored on external servers. The applications are going to work with the HTML5 version of Facebook and are also, going to notify you about games, apps and all sorts of other information.

Starting tomorrow, Facebook is going to have a great summer!

BlackBerry Touch Monaco hands-on review

This time we can see pictures of the phone, thanks to the website BoyGeniusReport, and according to accompanying information, the BlackBerry Touch Monaco will be available as part of the Storm series of RIM. In fact, Monaco is the codename for the phone network Verizon, while the GSM version for the rest of the world is known as the Monza. The phone is likely to be sold under the name BlackBerry Touch, but this information has yet to be confirmed officially. This model works with BlackBerry OS 6.1, but as part of the new version of the platform, users will now use the BlackBerry ID login, instead of PIN code as usual. The idea is that this will facilitate the work of different services to keep a backup copy of the information in your phone that will be based online. Expected premier of the BlackBerry Monaco / Monza be in May at the event BlackBerry World.

Meizu M9

So despite Meizu halting production of M8 because of Apple, they’re preparing us a new unbelievable phone – Meizu M9, and it’s running Android! There are going to be two versions of the phone – one is M9 with 960×640 3.5″ display and the other with 1024×640 4″ display. Another great feature is that Apple has launched a Smart Cover for this smart tablet in 10 different colors. The Smart Cover is very light weight to perfectly match the machinery. It is clipped on to the iPad 2 with a magnetic hinge. The cover puts the tablet to sleep and when it is lifted the computer wakes up. It can also be folded behind iPad 2 to make its light-weight portable stand.
