Windows 8 coming in 2012

Daniel Lewin who is working in Microsoft, informed us that Windows 8 will be on the market in Q3 2012. This had happened on the LAUNH conferential where he also said that tablets will replace computers soon, and when this happen, Windows 8 users could easily adapt using these new devices. Lewin also mention that Windows 8 interface had been ready before the release date of iPad, but they delayed it so much to improve the new OS.

ViewPad 7х Android Honeycomb tablet – video preview

ViewSonic presented their first 7 inch tablet with Android 3.0, and for which we mentioned earlier – ViewPad 7x. The device is the successor of ViewPad 7, but works with Android Honeycomb and already has a dual core processor. From ViewSonic have used their own interface – Shell 3D and operated only on the main screen on Android.

Minedroid – Minecraft client for Android devices

Minedroid (MineCraft) tested on T-Mobile G2, it’s pretty smooth and really fun!

This is Minedroid – an experimental Minecraft client for Android devices (phones or tablets).

This is intended as an exploration of how Minecraft could work with a touchscreen interface rather than a full implementation of the game. For that you’ll have to wait for Mojang to either make their own client or release the source.

Windows 8 for Tablets

Next week, during the All Thing Digital D9 conference, we are waiting for presentation of Windows 8 for tablets. According to Bloomberg, during the demonstration will be used tablets with NVIDIA Tegra processor and probably they will be dual cores. There is no more information about the tablets, but we will see for the first time Windows 8 tablet’s interface.

Opera Mini for iOS devices

Opera Mini is now available in App Store for iPhone and iPad for free. Opera Mini is the best browser for people with limited internet connection because it compress the web pages. Also, when they are already compressed you can open them faster than the normal browser. As we know, iPhone 4 have bigger resolution than 3G/3GS models , so Opera Mini automatically changes the interface and make the work easy and pleasantly.

HTC Pyramid new photos

Thanks to XDA-Developers we have some new portion of images that are much more detailed than the previous ones. They confirm most of the hardware capabilities of the device, according to the information the model has a 4.3″ screen with qHD resolution (960h540 pixels), dual-core processor with clock frequency of 1,2 GHz (probably Snapdragon), 768MB RAM memory 8MP main camera (probably 1080p HD video recording) and VGA front camera for video conversations. The operating system is Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread with the latest version of Sense 3.0 interface.

Microsoft shows Windows Phone interface in the future

A concept shown by Craig Mundie, Microsoft’s chief research and strategy officer.

In this video Mundie used a Windows Phone 7 device, seems to be an HTC HD7 to show the new technology and control of the user interface on a computer. The smartphone is used as a controller for the computer and data sharing. This demonstration shows some details of what could be done if the computer becomes an extension of the phone, but Microsoft is working on this kind of synergy since he started talking about Windws Phone 7 back in 2010.
