1. Extract Rom download Folder.
2. Be sure to have at least 50% of charge.
3. Turn off your device by using the Power Button
4. Go to Boot loader mode. Turn off device , Press power button and vol down
5. Connect your device to PC
6. Run MINI_SSPL.exe and follow the screen instructions.

HTC Aria review

At first glance, the HTC Aria may look to be a unique design from HTC. The sleek black panel on the front with capacitive buttons under the screen and the soft-touch back cover give you the sense of a miniature version of the Droid Incredible on Verizon. But if you’re familiar with HTC’s Windows Mobile lineup, you’ll definitely recognize that the body of the HTC Aria is nearly an exact replica of the HTC HD Mini. In fact, the only physical differences between the HTC Aria and HD Mini are the capacitive buttons and the addition of the optical joystick on the Aria. The top of the HTC Aria features the power button and 3.5mm headphone jack. The left side of the Aria has the volume toggle and the bottom of the phone has the Micro USB slot and microphone. Flipping the phone over reveals the speakerphone speaker, 5 megapixel camera HTC logo, and the same exposed screws of the HTC Mini in the four corners of the phone.

Update for HTC HD Mini and Touch Pro2 – SMS stability fix

HTC has released two updates today on their European Support website, both addressing the same issue but on different devices: HTC HD Mini and HTC Touch Pro2.  According to the description “this update amends the internal management of SMS functionality, and enhances SMS transmission stability”.

LeoCameraAnyKey v0.2.5 – volume keys as camera trigger/zoom

The problem with those new devices is that they lack of hardkeys. The HD2, Touch HD, HD Mini and Touch Pro 2 lack of a camera button. Why use the touchscreen when you may use your volume keys to take a photo and zoom in/out .

Top cases for HTC HD Mini

The HTC HD Mini is a great value, compact alternative to the HTC HD2. It’s not changed much in appearance compared to the HD2, other than the being considerably smaller.

If you’ve got the HD Mini, you’re going to want to keep it safe and protect it against knocks and drops, so to help you find the best cases and covers I’ve compiled my list of the top cases for the HTC HD Mini.

The list is relatively short at the moment as there are only a handful of cases available, but I’ll add to the list over the next few weeks as more cases become available.

1. HD Mini Carry Pouch

This is one of our most popular style of phone case. It’s a simple carry pouch that has a stitched in belt loop on the back. It has a soft lining that helps keep the screen of your phone clean and free from fingerprints. The front flap has a magnetic fastening that keeps your phone secure.

2. HTC PO S491 HD Mini Standard Leather Pouch

If you were lucky, you may have got a case in the box with your phone. If you didn’t, or you’ve lost it, this is the original HTC HD Mini leather pouch that’s included as standard. It’s a simple slip pouch that protects your HD Mini against minor knocks and bumps and still provides access to the 3.5mm headphone socket.

3. InvisibleSHIELD Full Body Protector – HTC HD Mini

If you don’t want the added bulk of a case, but still  want to protect your phone, then an InvisibleShield is a great option. It’s a tough, thin plastic film that covers all of your phone. I’ve been a fan of these for a while now as they do such a good job. Fitting them is a little bit fiddly, but the end result is well worth it. As they don’t add a lot to the bulk of your handset, you can easily use them with most other cases and covers.

4. Silicone Case for HTC HD Mini – Black

Last on my list for now then is a silicone case. These are available in black or white and are a simple, cost effective way to look after your phone. They cover the back, sides and corners of your HD Mini and leave your screen fully accessible. As your screen isn’t covered, I’d recommend using a HD Mini screen protector with them, just to be on the safe side.

That’s it for now, there are other cases available, but these are the best HTC HD Mini cases available at the moment.

HTC HD Mini lockscreen available for CAB install

We’re posted about the porting of HTC HD Mini’s lockscreen to WVGA via a custom ROM for HTC HD2, but now it’s ready for custom CAB install. It can be used for WVGA devices running Windows Mobile 6.5, with one glitch only, you can’t use PIN input with it, but we hope there will be a fix for this.

HTC HD Mini lockscreen ported to WVGA for custom ROMS

michyprima from XDA-Developers managed to port it to WVGA resolution, the HTC HD Mini’s lock screen was spotted in a custom Italian ROM for the HTC HD2, hopefully the user porting it will release it to the public so that it will be available without the need for flashing a custom ROM.

HTC HD Mini first look

Say hello to HD mini, the impressive experience of the HTC HD2 in a compact package.

HTC Touch HD Mini presented at MWC 2010

It looks like HTC is looking to capitalize on the success they’ve had with the HD2 by making a smaller (and less expensive) version of the device. The Touch HD Mini, while not official just yet, should be unveiled shortly at an HTC press event. While specs are unavailable, we’re thinking it will have a 3.0″ multitouch capacitive display running on Windows Mobile 6.5.3. Also inside may be a less powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, and 256MB of RAM.
