The first batch of the new Google Glass “gadget” (2000 pcs) will be available for all the users registered in the “Glass Explorers” just in a few days, anyway the price is a little bit higher – $1500 according to the sources.
Another information was leaked recently too, here we have the official Google Glass specs – there is a screen with a resolution of 640×360 pixels, 5MP camera with 720p HD video capabilities, 16GB of built-in storage (12GB available for the user), sound using the “bone conducting” technology (it uses the bones in your head to transfer the sound, wicked 
) and of course Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g connections. About the battery, it will lasts about a single day in normal usage of the glasses.

LG Optimus G Pro was officially announced for the Japanese market, but in the meantime the company has decided to present a new version of the phone especially designed for South Korea. LG just launched a new marketing campaign that confirms the rumors, the Korean version of Optimus G Pro will feature a Full HD screen (1080p) with a diagonal of 5.5-inches and quad-core processor.

The Chinese company Oppo is not so popular in the smartphones market, but now the company deserves some attention, especially since it’s portfolio includes a very interesting smartphone – the new Oppo Find 5. The device is a typical representative of the next “wave” of Android powered high-end smartphones and features a 5-inch Full HD screen with a resolution of 1080p, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and a battery with a capacity of 2500mAh.

Oppo Find 5 uses Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and offers some very interesting features such as the NFC chip, a 13MP camera that can shoot at 5 fps, a hardware features to create HDR images and videos, plus the ability to capture video at a speed of 120 fps, there is also and a 1.9MP front camera for video calls. Another interesting feature is the Dirac HD audio technology, which is used by companies such as BMW, Bentley, Rolls Royce and Datasat. Oppo Find 5 will be sold in China early next year at a price of 2,998 yuan, which is about 365 euros.

The rumors that HTC is working on a smartphone with 5″ screen and 1080p full HD resolution are officially confirmed – the new “phone” is called HTC J Butterfly HTL21. Unfortunately, the Butterfly is for the Japanese users only as the device is intended for the network operator AU/KDDI and will be sold in December.
HTC J Butterfly HTL21 works with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and relies on a powerful quad-core processor – Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 clocked @ 1.5GHz, the other specs are: 2GB of RAM, 8MP main camera and 2.1MP for video calls, 5 inch Super LCD 3 screen with full HD resolution – 1920×1080 that provides a pixel density of 440 ppi and a battery with capacity of 2020 mAh.
HTC J butterfly HTL21
According to The Verge, the new phone managed to ensure an image quality even better than the Super LCD 2 panel used in HTC One X, which is one of the best phone screens on the market. As we noted, the new smartphone is only for Japan, but HTC shared some information that the Super LCD 3 screen will appear in some of the other upcoming models.

HTC working on a smartphone with a 5″ 1080p HD display
HTC may try a different approach in order to win back a larger market share, at least according to some interesting information, which has just leaked online. The rumors state, that Taiwanese company is planning to release a device with a 5″ display, which is going to have the impressive resolution of 1080p HD – a logical move after the huge success of the Galaxy Note, which was the first “phone-tablet hybrid” type of device to become popular.
The rumors are also supported by the benchmark results of an unknown HTC device with a resolution of 1794×1080, which leaked recently. According to the test results, the smartphone is also going to run Qualcomm’s MSM8960 processor, clocked at 1,5 gHz. We should also remind you, that LG revealed a 5″ display with a 1920×1080 resolution earlier this year and that they have also released their own competitor against Samsung’s Galaxy Note – the LG Optimus Vu, which has a 5″ display with the rather unusual (at least for a smartphone) aspect ratio of 4:3.
