Run Android 2.2 Froyo on your HTC HD2 – video guide

Here’s the how to guide for HD2:
1. Download the files (torrent link)
2. Extract the files to your storage card
3. Run CLRCAD.exe to get the audio to work
4. Run Haret.exe and wait three minutes
5. To get back to Windows Mobile, soft reset

Help! I just extracted the froyo files and did everything in the video but when i opened Haret.exe and waited more than 3 minutes but nothing hapened! After waiting and it was finished my screen just went BLANK! i tried twice and its not working. What should i do?! please help!

I’m sorry but this has got to be the nicest hack for my phone yet… I followed readme which was basically the video instructions, and it booted right up. I have been playing with it for an hour straight… I had a G1 and missed all the new apps for it (The WinMo platform had a lot of apps at one point but they are mostly pretty dated now). I didn’t set up my wifi connection because to my suprise, the “H” showed up when i went into the app store. I grabbed a bunch of stuff to try like the TV.com app (CBS I think) and watched streaming video on there, I tried browsing to watch some anime but no flash in this build I guess. I don’t think the GPS works either but I will wait until I go outside to confirm that…. I will probably leave it in Android mode for a while now

I did exactly as the instructional video said and it looked leik it was loading up but now it has been 15 mins. and it keeps shwoing the same thing…looks like it is a lot of files but after looking at it, it is the same thing “htleo battery….. and then the last few wirds say 31.2 c, 659 mah??? dont know what i’m doing wrong??

Ok figured it out and installed great , except one huge prob. cant make a call, cant hear anything or if you do it is like a cpu voice. I hope tp get it fixed, love everything else about it!!!

the screen looks like it gets lines through it…now black screen…
