Windows Phone 7 Metro theme for WM6.5

A theme inspired by the new Windows Phone 7 Metro look. Most of it has been based off the official WP7 SDK (Emulator). Some parts had to be edited because of the limitations of Windows Mobile 6.5.x. This means that the theme is a combination of the Dark and of the Light versions of the Metro theme.

There will be a few themes which form a complete suite to transform your Windows Mobile 6.5.x phone into a WP7 like phone. They will be developed in the order of the table of contents.

Windows Mobile 6.5 Titanium plugin CAccessoiries + CContact

It is based applications offered by chriscsh (cLaunch v0.25 / CSettings v0.1 / v0.1 CGAM ) and has the particularity to appear in the central part page, and on both of other pages located before and after. You can slide left or right to select the next page to display, it’s only for QVGA devices.

Windows Mobile 6.5 Titanium Plugin – Taskanium

Taskanium is a simple Titanium (WM 6.5) plugin which displays the list of active tasks within the titaniun plugin and allows you to:

1. Add a new task
2. Open the active task by clicking
3. Mark the task as complete (right soft-key)

Requirements:

1) WM 6.5 with titanium enabled (obviously!).
2) .net CF 2.0 or higher.

Application for theme switching in WM6.5 Titanium

There are more and more themes coming up for WM 6.5 Titanium, which are not only tsk, colors etc, but also change greatly the Titanium….x……cpr file and the registries. When one wants to change from one such theme (for example WM7 project) to another (for example Shadow Neo Skin) the former theme has to be removed, and the new one has to be installed and customized, sometimes the plugins have to be reinstalled.

The theme switcher has the following capabilities:
- Backing up the existing theme, grafics files, cpr files, registries, so that it can easily be restored
- Installing the new selected theme

Windows Mobile 6.5 Start Menu – 3/4/5/6 items wide for WVGA/VGA/QVGA/WQVGA

Some cabs for the HD2 to change the start menu to 4 or 5 items wide. It makes the start menu 3, 4, 5 or 6 items wide (portrait) and keeps the same icon size for landscape. GPS application plugin for WM6.5 Titanium

Logs your GPS Coordinates at an interval of 5 minutes

How does it work?
After running the application, it will turn ON your phone’s GPS and log your current coordinates in a csv file. If it is able to get a valid coordinate, it will turn your GPS OFF and then wait for 5 minutes before turning it ON again.

First Panel:
- tapping on the panel will turn on the GPS
- first text line shows the status of CGPS (on/off)
- second text line shows the number of satellites and the status of your phone’s GPS
- third line shows your Latitude and Longitude
- right soft key’s function is to close/exit CPGS

Second Panel:
- will allow you to send an sms to one of your contacts with your last logged GPS coordinate and also a link to open Google Maps (installation is required on the receiving phone) and point your location.
