Even though the icons have been retouched, on anything but a black taskbar, artifacts may be noticed. As the original icons had some sort of shadow effect.

How-to:

1. Install ‘SdkCerts.CAB’ first (if you don’t already have it installed) and then soft reset.
2. Then install the ‘% Circular Battery Mod.CAB’ to device memory and then soft reset. CAB is uninstallable.
3. The CAB works on ROM 1.66.

HTC Sense Weather color clouds – [VGA/WVGA/QVGA]

This simply changes the color of HTC Sense Weather clouds (default white), by Light blue, Yellow or Red one.
Not useful but nice to see, especially on dark backgrounds.

Works on VGA/WVGA/QVGA resolutions and only in Manila 2.5.   For Manila 2.1 ROMs, take a look HERE.

Installation:
- Just install the attached cab and allow restart.
- It’s not necessary disable HTC Sense.

“Treats”

The real WP7 contains something called “Treats”. These are little, fairly useless, but cool features.
Some of the ones included in this theme: Text icon changes depending on amount of messages. First it is a smile, then a frown, and finally a gasping face. Bing search background changes depending on the day’s image.

Windows Phone 7 Metro theme for WM6.5

A theme inspired by the new Windows Phone 7 Metro look. Most of it has been based off the official WP7 SDK (Emulator). Some parts had to be edited because of the limitations of Windows Mobile 6.5.x. This means that the theme is a combination of the Dark and of the Light versions of the Metro theme.

There will be a few themes which form a complete suite to transform your Windows Mobile 6.5.x phone into a WP7 like phone. They will be developed in the order of the table of contents.

20 June update – added new cab -Alecs WP7 Taskbar V2.0- built with HD2 files. This cab works both on WM6.5 and 6.5.X and on most devices (theoretically). You’ll notice that all the icons in V2.0 have rounded corners (this suits better with the actual skinning trends on XDA). To get the volume icon working, download Volume Fixes V2.zip and install the appropriate cab inside.

1. If you have a custom taskbar installed, uninstall it first and reboot.

2. Download and install the cab that matches your OS (WM 6.5 has the start icon on the upper-left corner, WM6.5.X has the start icon on the bottom-left corner), then reboot. Though the cab contains the certifications, it’s safer for you to first install sdkcerts.

What’s inside:

The skin got a appointment area which shows the next appointment.
You are able to see how much notifications you got.
It looks a bit like the iPhone-Unlock-Skin (excluding the slider and the top informations).

How to install:

1. Extract the .zip archiv with a program like WinRar, 7Zip or something similar.
2. Put the extracted folder on your Windows P0hone or Storage Card.
